SELECTION PROCESS

All applications are screened and judged by a team of qualified professionals

To identify the Best in Customer Service Award winners the selection process is divided into 3 phases..

Phase 1: Application Review
In Phase I, all applications are reviewed and scored by a member(s) of the Pre-selection Committee (qualified academic and business professionals).

The maximum attainable score is 1000.

Phase 2: In-depth Review
In Phase II organizations must distribute the Employee Opinion Survey to their employees and the External Customer Opinion Survey to their customers. The information collected is used to help identify award-winning organizations. In this phase organizations may also be required to host a site verification visit if additional information is required to verify the application.

There are 2 ways to complete the surveys:

1. Online (survey link)
2. Paper (PDF format) Your organization will determine the method you will use to complete the survey.

The surveys are entirely confidential when completed. All the responses to the survey will be used to produce overall summary reports that do not identify individuals. The information collected is used to help identify award-winning organizations.

Phase 3: Final Review
In Phase III, the Advisory Committee comprised of academic and business professionals will review the feedback compiled by the Pre-selection Committee. Based on those results, the Advisory Committee will determine the winners of the Best in Customer Service Award.

The Advisory Committee is responsible for the final decision.
